USMLE changes in mean systemic filling pressure

Why changing the compliance changes in MSFP, while changes in vascular resistance doesn't?

if you increasing the vascular resistance, that is literally like decreasing the compliance.

So, how come changing the resistance doesn't change the MSFP?
