I have currently heard from a couple people that you are now able to use a calculator on the quantitative reasoning section. Is that true? Does this mean that they are going to change the entire layout of this section?

Yes, you can use a calculator.

No, the layout has not changed and the question difficulty is the same.

The calculator can save you time, but it can also waste a lot of time. Use the feature judicially.

But then again, now that everyone else can use a calculator, other people will be benefiting as well. And since your scores are based relative to how well other people do, I guess it was a good thing I took my DAT early.

The calculator is glitchy, and trust me, it can actually do more harm than good (time wise)!
