can anyone please tell me when the new pattern of USMLE is going to be implemented ? Is step 1 and step 2 going to be combined ? Will it be only a pass/fail exam ? Is it expected to be easier or tougher ?

not anytime soon, if you are currently in medical school best bet is to prepare for step 1 and step 2 as it is
