Changes to Step I

Does anyone know of any changes to USMLE Step I format which is upcoming in July 2007?

I heard a rumor that it is drastically changing, but I haven't found any information on USMLE/ECFMG websites confirming this.

I have heard that the pass score has increased from 182 to 185 but I think that has been in effect for awhile.

my friend just told me that they're changing it to be more like the mcat where you have to read a whole passage... then answer questions based on that passage...

can anyone verify this?! i hated the way the mcats were set up...😡

i think these may be rumors
usually when any new change is impending the official USMLE site says it
like the increased fee, the viedeos, the incresed down limit of success..............................
any way it's nt bad 2 post the rumors u hear, it's nice 2 put them in mind
