Changing a lender... Advice, please!

Hey guys, I have to change a lender since T.H.E. folded. Any suggestions on what might be a good alternative? There is Chase, Access Group, Discover etc... Which lender did you pick and why? Thanks so much!

Discover unless some other lender has a deal with your school for no origination and default fees.

I'm surprised you were still with T.H.E this past year when they folded last summer (removing all of their benefits) then returned to the scene with nothing special about their terms.

There are no deals, special terms, rewards, or frills going on since the credit crunch. That makes all lenders/loan terms basically indistinguishable, if we're talking Stafford/Grad PLUS loans. As for private loans, they vary greatly, but those should be avoided at all costs anyway.
