Changing planned course help !

Hello, I need some help with changing one of the classes that I planned to take this Fall 2014.

I initially chose to take 5 classes and found out 1 of them is not really necessary/time consuming and decided to drop it before the school starts.

However, I already e-submitted my AADSAS application and it seems like I cannot change it !

I contacted AADSAS and they said I can delete the course once Academic Update opens up in December.

Question 1 - do I need contact all schools I applied to let them know that I am not taking this class anymore ?

Question 2 - would it work against me ?

To me, it just doesn't make sense to change it in December which I think is too late..

I emailed the schools a revised plan of study. Each school replied with a thank you and that they would be attaching the email to my file. I added two classes and changed the college I was attending but I don't see why it would hurt to let them know.
