Changing SSN on AAMC Thx page

Hi,
I need to send my MCAT scores to a couple of organizations. I requested it using the AAMC score reporting system but they were sent with a SSN of 999-99-999. So, I submitted an email request asking them to change it. So far, I have not heard back. Any one here had similar experience? If so, how did you get them to change it?

I accidentally put the wrong SSN in my AMCAS too. The office said that all you have to do is change it on the application page, and then click resubmit. Simple isn't it?

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the primary app, not the MCAT.

What I had to do last year was send in a copy of my social security card, and driver's license or passport along with a letter requesting the change.

The copies also need to be notarized.

I had the exact same experience. I had to fax them a copy of my social security card, driver's license, and a letter explaining that I wanted them to change my social security number. The update did not take long; my SSN was changed within two days of me sending the fax. I hope this helps. PM me if you need clarification on something.
