changing where PCAT score is sent

I registered for the PCAT online and didn't really put too much thought into whether or not I wanted my scores sent to colleges. This is my first time taking the PCAT and now that it's a month away and I'm not feeling super prepared, I'm regretting my decision. Is there anything I can do besides pick the "no score" option? I definitely still want to know my score (I paid $150 dollars, I want to at least know for myself how bad I screw up!), I just don't want it getting sent out to schools. Any help?

You can exclude the schools that you do not want it to be at. However, you will have to pay $20 to request transcript later on. I remember that you are allowed to send 3 copy to 3 schools (1 of 3 should be requested to pharmcas certainly). Take this advantage. School will only take your highest score.

How do you exclude the schools that you don't want it to be at? That's exactly what I need to do.

I do want to send it to pharmcas, but I sent it to the college I'm at right now and I didn't really want to do that. I decided to get my BS before going into the first professional year of pharmacy and if I transfer back into the Pharmacy program internally I don't need to take the PCAT--it would just be an extra selling point if I did well. But if I don't do well (and never improve my score that much) it would really just be hurting me.

i can't find anything on the pearson website, so you might have to call someone in customer service. you can probably do it right now if they're not at lunch.

When you take the pcat, do not list the school you don't want. They will explain how to do it on the test day.

When I signed up for the test, I requested scores be sent to Maryland, rather than PharmCAS, like an idiot. It does say on the Pearson site that if you request a school that takes the PharmCAS, it will send the score there rather than to the school. I hope this works, but I am tempted to just spend the extra $20 to make sure it's sent to PharmCAS.

Eldiem, I just now also did the same and it is too late in the night to call anyone. I wonder if they would allow me to change at least one of the recipients to be Pharmcas.

yep i just realized i didnt send my score to pharmcas either...instead sent it to three schools. maybe they wont get it now? does anyone know of a way to change where u send it....can I just not send it to anyone because I dont think I am going to do to well on this one lol.

so if the school isnt listed on one of my choices there is no way they can see my score?

I called Pearson and they informed me that if any of the schools I applied to participated in Pharmcas they would automatically send the results there. I however will go ahead and pay the extra 20 bucks. It seems to that if I was applying to only pharmcas participating schools then I should only have to pay the 150 dollars only.

I just got my admissions ticket and it lists the three score recipients I chose on my ticket--will not listing a school on test day that is on my ticket still cancel my score from being sent to that school? I'm freaking out because I'm so NOT as prepared as I was planning on being and I really don't want my ****ty score sent to my current college.

^^^^ Im having the same problem lol...I wasnt able to study as much as I wanted to and now I really dont want my score sent to the three schools that I chose. But at the same time I dont want to hit no score because I want to know how I did. So if someone knows if this can be changed on test day please let us know.

You should call customer service and find out because this is what the Candidate Booklet says:

If you do not designate all three schools or you wish to change your schools after you submit your registration, you MUST pay the Additional Transcript Fee for each change requested later.

I don't remember being able to change the schools on test day but I wasn't worried about that so it may have happened but I didn't notice. However, from reading the Candidate Booklet, it sounds like you can't change things on test day and it is going to cost you $20 a pop to make changes. Maybe they won't charge you if you omit score reports.

did this affect you getting into to certain schools?? I just did this accidentally too
