1. which part do you recommend me to read Campbell bio?
2. I tried to read classification part in Campbell. This part makes me crazy. Do you think we have to read classification part in Campbell, or is Schaum's bio enough in classification?
3. do you memorize "class" such as Chiton, Gasgropoda, Scyphozoams, Ectoprocts, Phoronids... It's crazy. Is it enough to memorize the phylum such as arthropod, annelid, cnidaria???

wow, from Campbell? that thick beast? i'd say you'd find about 25% of that book relevant to the DAT. I mean it probably has everything you need to know for the DAT and then some. problem is that it goes into way too much depth and DAT related material is kinda all scattered out. As for classification goes, i do not believe you need to know all the class, order, phylum but you need to know the sequence. and the genus species naming. i only got one question on classification and that was on species naming. You should however know that an annelid is more primitive than say an arthropod which is more primitive to say a human. Though i do think the figures in Campdbell are useful in understanding the systems. I'd say that Campbell probably does a better job explaining systems than test prep books since it does go more in depth so if you are like me and cant figure out how the system fully functions without every nut and bolt...but usually prep material such as Kaplan, Destroyer, Barrons, Princeton review, etc, are a good overview of what you should know, and anything unclear in those should be looked up in other texts.
