I was placed on the alternate list today too.
I also am on the alternate list. Do you think you will attend Chatham?
I declined my acceptance to Chatham. So that opens up a slot for one of you...You're welcome 😛

I'm not sure how many people they put on the alternate list but I was on it last year and never heard back. I reapplied this year and was placed on the alternate list again, so I'm not really expecting to hear back. They probably don't go through many people on the waitlist since the class size is 36 and they usually accept around 20 for the priority decision.
Hey all! I'm on the alternative list as well from the priority interview. I called the other day to kind of find out more. They did tell me I was on the bottom third (which sucks, but at least I know and can move on). The only shady thing I find is they won't tell you how many they have waitlisted. Alot of schools don't...I just find it unfair to the applicant.
I never replied to the email re:remaining on the alternate list, so that makes the waitlist a little smaller.
Hey! I can't remember what day, but I called all day long and my call would never go through...it would ring a few times then just cut me off. So I called the same number again on a different day and was able to reach Genny Parker. This is the number I used...412-365-1298.
Good luck! I hope that helps!

Hey 'toes crossed'....I tried to call today but when I called general admissions I think they sent me to the PA program. Then I tried to call Genny Parker, but that line never went anywhere... Who did you call to find out where you were on the wait list?
I just talked to Maureen from Chatham today. Apparently Genny Parker now longer works for the university and you should be contacting Maureen for now. ([email protected]). She also informed me that there has been no movement on the wait list yet and that they will not release where you are on the list (she wouldn't even tell me top third/bottom third, etc.)
