Ah, alright. So do we think the "there are still remaining spots open" email is good news? that we arent on the waitlist, maybe we're higher than the wait list?

None of this adds up. Why are there applicants getting wait-listed when they have not interviewed and why are there interviewed applicants getting wait-listed when others are getting an email that they there are seats left? We as students are already stressed out and now they are confusing us with their admission protocols, which is only making this stress worse. I will be calling them tomorrow and trying to get some real answers. This is our future not some game, either tell us we are not accepted and we move on or we are accepted it is that simple.

Completely agree! I emailed earlier this week and the response was "all applicants will be notified by 12/23".. Obviously, that is not true because they sent out acceptances before thanksgiving. I don't like how they've handled their admissions along with their blank faces during interviews.

Well, just got into another school today (top choice, literally dying right now). So this will open up a spot on the waitlist, or whatever I would have been placed on.. Good luck to you all!!!

Update

Unfortunately I did not get answer from my question I had about the emails but I did get an email stating that I am on their priority waitlist. I am wondering if there is a difference from the priority waitlist or alternate waitlist other people were on.

Just found out I was "priority waitlisted" for Chatham as well. was also wondering if anyone knew if "priority" meant anything different than the alternate waitlist.

Hi guys,
I was priority waitlisted back in December too and the wait has been pretty awful. When I emailed MJ she said that there was a priority as well as a regular waitlist so that means there's still a good chance for us that are on the priority list! Quick update: I did end up getting off the priority wait list about 2 weeks ago and accepted! I believe they are still going through the list so there is still hope for those of you that are waiting!
