Can anyone provide a list of the cheapest dental schools for an OOS enrollee? I know there is the "startclass" list, but I really find that one to be inaccurate. Also, it seems that all the threads on this issue on here are outdated.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you

Most schools are expensive for OOS, but you can often change your residency to IS after the first year for some schools such as Ohio State, UNLV or UConn. This will significantly lower cost. Check with individual schools

Stony Brook, UConn, UNC and Rutgers offer in state tuition after 1 year. These schools are ridiculously hard to get into OOS though... like, harder than getting into an Ivy League

Maryland, Ohio State, and UNLV also offer IS after the first year. Less challenging to get interviews/acceptances from too.

I think unlv should be top 3 of the list. Not only do you get instate after a year but living in Vegas is dirt cheap. You can live in one of the high rises like the Martin or panorama for a reasonable price. If not you can get a 2 bed apartment for 1k

1k a month?
Man I'm trying to live on less than 500 a month. Gotta get used to living broke haha
