What is the cheapest SMP (with linkage) for out-of-states?

Tulane ACP is cheap but isn't a degree-granting program so you might not be able to get government loans for it. Also, you need to be on a med school waitlist to even apply. Great linkage though.
Other than that, I don't know of any cheap SMPs.

Any degree-granting SMP is going to get you federal loans to cover cost of attendance including living expenses.
Tulane ACP isn't degree granting, so no federal loans, but it is the cheapest.

The LECOM SMP is dirt cheap compared to others, something like 15 grand and a solid linkage.
Sorry DrMidLife, it only took me 2 months to get back to you on this 😛. (very busy I guess 😀)
So, yeah, I have 1 year to boost it. I hope I can get it up to 2.75 (not realistic). I'm planning to kill the MCAT, if that gonna help. And I'm gonna look for programs for URM's to see if I can get in one.
I was looking at the cost of EVMS SMP and it was like $58 K. Do you have to take Graduate Plus Loans to cover that? I have an adverse credit history and I don't think I will qualify for Grad Plus.
Do you know of other good SMP that is cheap enough to be covered by the regular financial aid as a regular Masters Program?
Is it too competitive to get in?
Is it school GPA (new grade replaces old grade for retakes)? or Amcas way of calculating the gpa (averaging retakes)?

I don't think it is too hard compared to some other SMP's. Minimum GPA is a 2.7 and mcat is a 23 or so. Look at the LECOM threads on here if you want to get an idea of the stats of people getting in.

What about for programs like BU MAMS and Drexel which are 2 year SMPs? Do you get federal funding for the first year as well? Past students indicate they got federal funding and I will be calling financial aid but I'm curious to see if anyone else on the board can chime in.

Drexel IMS is 25000 or so for the first year (you'll be taking almost all the courses this year). If you decide to stay for the 2nd mms year, itis a bit less, like 20000 for the ms year (mostly research, but you can take med school courses if you want).
My classmates did fill out their fasfa forms and got aid for the first year (at least I'm pretty sure that was what it was).

Grad Plus loans (credit based) will cover anything after the Unsub'ed Direct loan that the school has in it's cost of attendance.

VCU is 25k for both IS/OOS. I hope price isn't the only thing you're taking into consideration...
No, but I'm not gonna qualify for Grad Plus Loans (credit issues). So, I need something that is good, and cheap enough to be covered as a regular masters program.
How then I'm gonna pay for med school? This is a question for another day. I might have more options then.
