if program doesn't buy mksap, what's the cheapest way to get a copy? ebay? Online it's like $400-something on acp's website.

hey bro i think you can get a membership and then its like 325, but thats the cheapest. the mksap 15 does not come out for another 2.5 years so i just got a memebership and bought it. i think ebay might have it as well i was looking for a while but didnt find any. good luck

how much is it to join if u haven't started residency yet? is it free to join once u're a resident?

The cheapest way to get MKSAP is to buy a copy off someone who is done using it. Since the boards are in August, usually any first year fellows in your new program will be happy to unload it on you, assuming you're happy with a dogeared copy. A slightly older version is not that big of a deal, although I would not go any more than one version out of date (i.e. MKSAP is now #17, so using #16 to study would be less than ideal but probably OK)
