Cheating Dilemma

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
a) whether the interviewer will bring up the F
b) how the OP explains it
c) whether he gets an acceptance

A = NO..

b = won't have to

c = yes

adcoms aren't going to ask a 3.5 gpa person about one bad grade. They are going to look at all of his other solid grades and go "hurump! he/she must have not liked that class/teacher whatever.

If they do ask.. why would you go into a bunch of details anyway. ..

"I don't really know.. I just got off to a bad start in the class and never got lined out. I didn't have any problems with the class at all, as you can tell by the A, when I retook it."

not that I advocate cheating... but good lord.. get over it and get on with it...

also.. if it's not on your official transcripts it never happened so what are we even talking about?

yeah, won't matter anyway, OP won't be back on here to follow up IMO. He'll just lie about it and probably get in and that'll be that.
