My boyfriend wondered if he was using an online translator and it was just coming out looking weird to us.....if not, then I guess I am really missing something here because starting a post like that is totally foreign to me and I don't get it.

Well i may not agree with all of your opinions about being a troll, for i am not a troll but merely an opinion giver. Several of you are viewed as troll to me because of the harsh posts, but am i b#tching, no im not, i read and absorb comments. And with the whole rinky dinky blah blah blah ged. bs well i dont think its that rinky dink because im going to be a doc as well and dont get to full of yourself about getting a Phd because you might FAIL.

Tut. A GED is the equivalency of a high school degree in the US. I was saying that getting a doctorate is more important than that. Perhaps you misunderstood because you were too busy looking at other people's papers.

I'm going to be a doctor (as in DVM ) too. Not PhD. Before you insult, read up on the difference, since you want to go to school in the US.

I would rather fail honestly, than cheat to get my degree. Maybe your ethics are different.
But I'm not going to fail because, I don't waste time trying to cheat.😀

Im well aware of what a ged is, i graduated from the states this past year ( SOUTH MECK HIGH)and no im not using an online translator and i dont cheat and look at others papers. Your ethics as i can tell are high, good for you, i to have ethics, i sit and drone over these books hours on end, please dont view me as a cheater i just dont care if others cheat, thats not my buisness, and i only insulted because i was insulted first " eye for an eye " if you catch my drift. Lets put an end to this bickering and quarelling, i hope that you pass with the highest grades in your class, it doesnt really matter to me, heck you can fail and it wont matter to me i just posted my opinion about cheating. Let the cheaters cheat, thats all i believe because if someone is cheating its really none of anyones buisness, they just wanna pass. And thank you for pointing out the difference btwn. dvm and phd but technically you know what i meant.

I understand where you are coming from, but think of it this way - people who cheat to get high grades are going to adversely affect other students - perhaps even you! Think about it. Someone cheats and gets good grades. Maybe, due to those grades, they beat you or someone else deserving, out for a scholarship! Or maybe they beat you out of a residency or internship that YOU really deserved because YOU did the work.

So really, cheating can affect everyone, not just the cheaters. Which is why I have no tolerance for it. I will be darned if someone takes away my opportunity to get a scholarship or residency because of grades they got UNFAIRLY while I worked my butt off!

Do you kind of see what I am saying? I don't care if someone picks their nose in class, it doesn't affect me. But I do care if someone is cheating, because it could potentially affect MY career, or another deserving, hard-working person's career, and ability to equally advance and get what they deserve.

Personally I feel that it is other people's (classmates) business if people are cheating. The whole point of vet school is to learn the material that you will need to practice (assuming you are going to practice). So if you cheat on exams to pass you are cheating your future clients and patients who assume that since you have your DVM you have the knowledge of a DVM (or equivalent foreign degree). If you cheated through all your exams (or even just a few very important ones) you will not have the knowledge to be a competent vet. I know in theory the licensing boards are designed to only pass people who know their stuff but since you only need a 50% on them I am not sure that means you will be a competent veterinarian. This is just my take on this. If you can only pass the exams by cheating you need to retake the class so that you do know the material.

As far as the everyone thinks about cheating sometime thing. I do not agree at all. I know the information I know is corrrect. I don't really know if the person sitting next to me knows their stuff or is just good at bluffing.
