Checking up on schools

Slightly early at the moment but what is the process of checking up on schools to make sure they have everything and your application is complete (secondaries, LoRs, etc.)? Will they contact you when they have it all or need more, or is it something you personally have to reach out to them about? And what is the best way to contact them? Email or by phone?

If they use an online portal system, the updates will appear there when you have things received/completed/etc. Most (probably all) other schools will send out emails notifying you when they receive the different parts of your app and when you're complete. If you send everything in and don't hear back for a while, then shoot them an email or call them.

Second what DocFarnsworth said. You'll get an email when everything is complete and when your application fee is processed.
