Checklist for interviews

Can people share little bullet points or a checklist they used that they thought was very effective for interviews? Got my first one this Monday morning and wanna hear some different perspectives

What makes this school different/standout?
What do I like about this school?
Why would I be a good fit?
Why do I want to be a dentist?

This is that checklist I went through before each of my interviews

Go in with the mindset that you are interviewing the school as much as they are interviewing you!

I was asked about my hobbies, so I got out my ipad and showed them some pictures of my art work. They seemed to like seeing it instead of me just telling them I’m an artist.

Just as @MLC45 mentioned, I have noticed that some applicants brought their portfolio of artwork.

Make sure to ask unique questions during the interview, sometimes the website does not give you all the information you need. Writing down the things you learned shows that you are very interested and willing to know more about the school.

My tip is to be succinct and blatantly honest. Some of my interview answers were boring like I only applied to New York Dental schools and I like to use my hand dexterity for all of my hobbies. Just memorize key points and fill in the rest while talking casually.

These interviews are only to gauge who you are. As long as you are not d-bag and able to talk to other people about sports/events/tv shows/life, then you won't have to worry.

Questions like why dentistry, why did you apply to our program, where do you see yourself in the future, what are your strengths/weaknesses, and be able to talk about incidents in your life

Thanks y'all these have been super helpful, been writing up bullet points and jotting down stories to help me formulate better answers to any questions they might throw at me tomorrow morning.
