So I took Chem 1 and 2 way back in the day at my local community college, to make a long story short, I learned absolutely nothing and still was "given" a "B" in both classes by the professor. I decided to take chem 1 again this past semester at the university level and received a final grade of an "A." I will be taking chem 2 again this upcoming semester at the university level. I understand that DO school will allow grade replacements if the classes are equal in credit hours. The problem is, at the community college Chem 2 is 4 credits (including lab), however, at the university level Chem 2 is 3 credits with a separate 1 credit hour lab. I wont be taking the separate lab, so will my chem 2 grade NOT be replaced by DO school?

Thank you!!

That is my understanding of the way AACOMAS policy works. A good question is: would they replace if you did take the lab, even though two classes would be listed. You might call AACOMAS and ask that question.
