Chem 122

I wanted to ask this question here before i ask my school/prof. Do you have to take Chem 122 before you take organic I? I know that Chem 122 in a pre-req for organic. Can you take them in the same semester? Thanx

I took chem II and org I at the same time. I had to have some papers signed by the chem dept head at my school to do it, but i didn't have any problems handling the material together. Good Luck!

Class requirements will differ from school to school. At my school you can't take Orgo before you finish off your Chem (can't even take them concurrently), most likely it will be at your school too. Your best bet would be to ask your advisor and see what she has to say.

Thanx for the response. If my school does allow me to take organic I and Chem II in the same semester what would be your thought on that? Should it be okay to take Chem II, organic I together along with Bio I? ( i already have my undergrad degree so the science courses are the only ones left.) 🙂
