Hey, can someone explain this question and why the answer is temperature. I'm clueless on this. thanks so much!

6. Which property determines the direction of the exchange of internal energy between two objects?
A. Temperature
B. Specific Heat
C. Mass
D. Density

It has to do with Lechatalier's principle. When te,peratures are high a reaction will favor the endothermic reaction but when temperatures are low it will favore the exothermic reaction. Therefore it will control which direction is favored and thereby control the heat flow of the reaction.

thanks! it seemed so simple but i was clueless haha. i love how i'm getting all the hard questions right but give me a simple one, and i get thrown off lol.

here's another simple one:

When the reaction is subjected to stress, a change will occur in the concentration of A. Reactants, only
B. Products, only
C. Both products and reactants
D. Neither reactants nor products

why is the answer C? and what do they mean by "stress"?

I think by stress they mean pressure. Le chatalier's principle again. When pressure increases the reaction will shift towards the side which has less mole and when pressure is decreased the reaction will shift towards the side which has more moles. This way it will affect both reactants and products. For example if the pressure is increased then lets say that it shifts towards reactants side (b/c it has less moles). This means that reactants will increase but the products will increase, hence affecting both.

sorry I meant to say products will decrease
