Diastereomers share the same chemical properties, but have different physical properties.

Physical properties include :solubility, melting point & boiling point.

Does anyone know a few chemical properties and why is solubility not considered a chemical property?

Solubility is a physical property because you are not changing the composition of the soluble/insoluble thing. For example, NaCl is still NaCl even if you dissolve it in water. You just changed the physical composition of NaCl(s) to Na(aq) and Cl(aq). Lattice to aqueous is just a physical change.

Just like how when you boil water, the gaseous water is still H2O.

Chemical properties are things like oxidation states. Like Fe+O2 = Fe2O3.

I see. So a physical property is something that retains the fundamental identity of a substance before and after its change. got it.
