hi

i recieved my grade in chemistry....i got a c+.....i feel so bad. what should i do? i'll be starting the second semester in a month but i feel so bad about getting a c+ now....
does it look bad on my transcript?

Yes, it does. Try to avoid bad grades in the future.

Really though, generally the second semester is quite a bit different than the first semester so you could still do well in the second half. Nonetheless, it looks bad to get a low grade on a required pre-medical course.

It's hard to advise you since you don't really elaborate on any possible reasons for why you got the grade you got. I think at times like these it's important to be truthful to yourself like whether or not you put in the effort and that you'll make a commitment to apply yourself next time. It's okay to stumble a little during your freshman year, though, as many people have a hard time adjusting to college life.

One C won't kill you, but you need a reason why you got that C in case you're asked by ADCOMs. You also need to figure out the reason so you can fix it for yourself, not just as an excuse.
