I wanted to know how much inorganic chemistry is used in pharmacy school? More specifically, how often if at all are the concepts of equilibrium, order rate, change of concentration with time, used in pharmacy school. Would it be helpful to review these or is pharmacy school more concerned with organic rather than inorganic. Any input is appreciated.

You will see kinetics used, and of course, a goodly amount of organic and biochemistry. If you are good in those two areas, that is good. Kinetics you will see in Pharmacokinetics, and we also saw a little bit in Med Chem.

As a P1 we've seen a lot dealing with pH, acid and bases, solubility, and different functional groups on organic compounds.

Those are the things to come to mind.

Same goes at my school. Acid/Base and pH/pKa is pretty important.

It's pharmacy...there's chemistry....

There is chemistry but not that hard or complicated!
