At my daughter's school the standard 4-semester chemistry sequence is (credits in parentheses):
General Chemistry I w/lab (5)
Chemistry II Organic w/lab (5)
Chemistry III: Organic Reactions (4)
Chemistry IV: Theory & App (4)
Chem III and IV don't have separate labs, but rather the course description says "THE PREVIOUSLY CO-REQUIRED LABORATORY MEETING HAS BEEN INTEGRATED INTO THE SCHEDULING FOR THIS COURSE"
Most med school prerequisites I've seen say "General chemistry - 1 year with lab". Her "general" chemistry will be Chem I and Chem IV - will it be an issue that the Chem IV doesn't have a separate lab class?
Thanks!
