Hey guys..
quick question, on topscore it says:
how much heat is needed to raise the temp of 160g of water from 18.8 degrees Celsius to 37 degrees Celsius. specific heat of water is 4.184 J/gC...
I know how to get the answer using the q=mct which gave me 12.2...
the part that im confused about is that I thought since the problem is using J/gC that the answer should be 12.2kJ. However, they have the correct answer being 12.2J (instead of kJ)....
not sure if im missing something 😕
if anyone can clear this for me id appreciate it...thanks 🙂
