Can we compile a list of must-know formulas for the Chemistry section? The Chem section is going to be the toughest for me, I just want to prepare myself with all the basics.

I'm sure there are a lot of Ka and pKa, molarity, molality, pressure, avogadro-related stuff, etc.

Can anyone add some more? Thanks!

Thermodynamic Relationships
*A few must know Thermo. relationships

Enthalpy
ΔH = ΔH(products) - ΔH(reactants)

Entropy
ΔS=q(rev)/T

Gibbs Free Energy
ΔG=ΔH-TΔS
ΔG=-RTlnK

Hope this helped in your review... 🙂

Molarity,M = moles of solute/L of solution

% yield = actual yield/theoretical yield * 100

weight % = solute weight/solution weight * 100

Normality,N = eq of solute / L of solution

V1 *C1 = v2 * C2

eq(acid) = eq(base)....so N1*V1 = N2*V2
