1st I'd like to admit that I hijacked this from allnurses dot com so don't bash me if you've seen these.
As non-traditional students it's often times harder for us to just read a book and concentrate. I for one need other outlets for studying, especially at work. What I like about the nurses forum is that they are so supportive (pre-nursing) and they list every other type of online reference for those studing various subjects. So I thought it would be cool to start one here, espeically for the non science pre-med students out there. Let me know what you think, and maybe they can become stickys. Let me know your thoughts. I have not posted these links yet but I wanted to make sure if they would be useful to those doing their pre-science courses. I've personally have used some of these links, mostly as visual references, and some if not all are great!

It'd be great to have those resources on here, but if you don't post them, could you PM me the links? ;) Thanks!

I will post some later on tonight if not tomorrow morning. I was beginning to wonder if any would want them.

i def. think the links would be helpful..
my personal favs..are hyperphysics which has a lot of concept maps and makes nice connections to bio and chem..i love using wiki to help understanding concepts better. i like flashcard exchange too..as you can type in mcat for the field and find people who have posted their EK or kaplan flashcards..

i actually sometimes type in for ex..cardiovascular system notes..and sometimes i will get a very simple page with just very basic information..but sometimes its helpful to see things simplified and go from there..

in order to test myself on some context stuff..i usually google the name of chapter and write quiz or test behind it..for example digestive system test..this pulls from different webiste and gives you some practice for content stuff..

i have tried utubing for lecture stuff but have found this less helpful.

Great list, thanks. I'm going to bookmark them. :)

Great stuff here. As a Non-traditional student myself I can totally relate to what you mentioned about NOT remembering 'stuff'. I, myself have CRS, Can't Remember **** ... So, TY again
