Hey everyone,

Just a simple question. My chemistry gpa is not too good (around a 2.79). I'm taking biochem right now and it looks like I'll probably end up with a C+. Do you think this will hurt my chances of getting into PT school?

- Just another worried fella

Biochem isn't a pre req so that doesn't matter as long as you get better than a c-. and I guess it depends on the school but they don't look at chemistry gpa separately from overall and pre req. Yea there's your science gpa, but that doesn't just include chem.

Do your schools you are applying to have any stipulations, like "cannot earn below a 3.0 in pre-requisite classes"?

No they don't. My cumulative gpa is a 3.3, but I wasn't sure if the schools looked at your chemistry/bio grades separately or not. Thanks though!

I got two C plus in chemistry as well. But they were my only low grades and I still feel confident that I have a decent chance at an admission to PT school. I also have previous classmates from past couple of years that got admitted to schools after receiving multiple C grades. Good luck
