anybody have any thoughts on resurrection and U of Illinois-metropolitan programs in chicago?

I don't think Resurrection has its own program... I think the UIC residents rotate there.
Anyway, I like the Metro program, but it's hard to compare it to anything else, since it's the only program I've been in. :-( We do have LOTS of conferences, give lots of presentations, mock oral boards, etc, which can be a considered a good or bad thing. We comply with the work hrs for the most part, but on a few rotations that's difficult. I like my fellow residents a lot, and I think that makes a big difference in how happy you are. There's plenty of opportunity for research if you want it. Our graduates are quite successful at getting fellowships.
