chicago residency info request

Hi, I'm currently a 2nd year MD student and am interested in anesthesiology. I was wondering if anyone could offer any good info on the nature of (i.e. level of difficulty of admission, work hours, notable facts) anesthesiology residencies in the chicago area. Just how many programs are out there? How competitive? USMLE scores? Working conditions?
