Im not sure if anyone will even read this post, but I am posting this as a warning for anyone looking into applying to and/or attending chicago state univ occupational therapy program. The program has no resources, a graduation rate of 50% or below, unethical professors, unsanitary classrooms, no labs, and will make you question why you want to be an OT to begin with. They do their very best to conceal all of these facts from you before beginning in the program. Feel free to respond to this post if you have any questions about the program, I would be more than willing to share. I just wanted to put this out there as a warning to any future students.

There are some threads here from a few years back stating similar things.

All of the links I googled about the program don't work. Something's fishy.

HELLO OTSTUDENTAB. I saw that you are DPT? So did you graduate from their CSU-OT program, or you switched from OT to PT? (And if you don't mind me asking, which PT school did you go?). The thread was written in '18, which I think that was when the chair left her position in 2017/2018 and things might got out of control for a bit. I went to their info session and I saw the lab in the actual classroom? Can you elaborate more on the program other than what you have mentioned? I am still deciding either OT or PT. All in all, the graduation rate at CSU is pretty sad across the board....
