Thoughts on UW and university of Chicago?

Can't say too much, but had a friend from general residency do his fellowship at UC. He had very good things to say about it. He especially pointed out having a good experience with psychotherapy mentoring. He also had positive things to say about working at UC in general--treated well, good benefits, they have a nice education system for the kids of the attendings...things like that.

Thoughts on UW and university of Chicago?

Around these parts, UW has a reputation for making you work. I'm sure you get good training, though.

I went to UW's fellowship and I agree with Dr. Bagel, but the call system has been modified since I was there and I've heard that the new system is much kinder and gentler.

U. of Chicago did not come highly recommended for general psychiatry when I was graduating in the midwest, and there was a lot of turnover in the child psychiatry division while my friend was in training there 2005-2009.
