Chin Reduction Surgery

My cousin wants to get Chin Reduction Surgery (she has two pointy corners on her chin that she essentially wants "filed down"). She lives in the DC metropolitan area, but she cant seem to find any plastic surgeons that have any experience with this. Some do chin augmentation with implants, but most are primarily focused on body stuff. What would be the best way to find a surgeon with a focus (or extensive experience) on facial plastics with experience with chin reduction surgery? Thanks for all your help.

Without giving any real medical advice....Tell your "cousin" to find an oral & maxillofacial surgeon. And google "genioplasty." This is pretty routine for oral surgeons. The incisions are usually hidden entirely inside the mouth at the base of the lower lip. Some even do it in their own offices with deep sedation.
