What lender did you go with for stafford loans in med school? Is there an advantage to say Sallie Mae, which allows you to defer payments until after residency? Or do other lenders do this as well? I've gone to about 5 loan officers and most of them knew less about student loans than I did, so any help would be great. Thanks!
