Hey everyone,
Looking for some insight. I have had a chance to speak with some Canadian students studying in Osteopathic Medical Schools throughout the USA. Everyone appear to be enjoying their choice to studying at a DO institution. However, everyone I have spoken to seems to be hesitant about speaking about the prospects of returning home to Canada for residency or practice. Similarly, many Canadians with excellent credentials seem to move overseas for medicine without even a fast glance at the DO route. My question is with a DO education will I be pretty much restricted to the USA, or is their a realistic chance I could practice in any specialty of my choice which is my priority in Canada?

you'll probably be fine. Canada isnt accepting of DO's usually. But they are better faccilitated in the US since its a US degree.
