Not that it matters now, but just out of curiosity, does anybody have any information regarding minimum step I scores for this program? I wasn't granted an interview and was wondering if this is one of those 225 minimum programs (I wound up with a 224). Better yet, was anybody granted an interview with <225?

I'm a resident at Christiana and we don't have a minimum step 1 score. We get about 600 applications for about 100 interview spots, so we end up not granting interviews to a lot of great candidates. Some of it is a crap shoot too. I know when I applied I got interviews at some very tough programs and then didn't here from a weaker program in the same city.

As much as possible we look at the whole picture. The most important factors are personality based, so SLORs, personal statements, etc are very important. I can tell you from interviewing applicants that board scores have a very small role in ranking people.

Just like everywhere, we interviewed some people who weren't great and I'm sure their were much better people who we didn't offer an interview to. When programs are granting interviews, they are making educated guesses about how well they think the person would do at the their program. Sometimes they guess wrong.

Good luck in the match.
