AP bio says the chromosome splits to two separate chromatids at the end of Metaphase of mitosis.

I missed a Q vault question which says they are split in Anaphase.

Any consensus on this?

Thanks.

I would definitely say know that chromatids separate at anaphase. Metaphase's significance is the chromosomes line up on the metaphase plate.
Prophase- "Pair"
Metaphase- "Meet"
Anaphase- "Apart"
Telophase- just gonna have to remember what happens here one 😀
