Since the anesthesiology forum likes to discuss the pleasures of life so much, how 'bout we talk cigars. What do you guys like to smoke on your back patio at the end of a long day?--cognac in hand of course. Recommendations for the less-experienced smoker?

No cognac in hand with my 'gar, but a neat scotch (single malt of course).

Anyhow, as far as cigars go, I'm partial to the CAO gold as a nice medium. If you want to go a bit higher in price, the Dunhill Valverde is nice.

If I'm looking for a bit of a mas fuerte experience, a CAO Brasilia is a good beginners cigar. The Flor de Copan Corona is a nice economical, but good, cigar too. Again, a more pricey option on the stronger side is the Montecristo White Court.

I don't get the opportunity to enjoy a cigar as often as I used to, but still have one about once a month.
