I'm hoping that someone who has been through this before can help me solve this dilemma...
I just found out that I was accepted to CIIS's PsyD program (woo hoo!) BUT they want a response BEFORE I am due to hear back from the other schools I have applied to. I've tried not to rank my choices, but I'd like to hear from everywhere I've applied before making any decisions. Any advice?

Basic premise of your post is good - no APA school is allowed to pressure you to make a decision before April 15th. However, if your other schools are APA as well, it would be very poor form to wait until you've heard back from all your schools before making any decisions - the process doesn't work that way. Once you have two offers, decide which you prefer more and turn down the other one right away, even if it's before April 15th.

I completely agree with that - I intend to only hold on to one offer at a time, declining my second choice as each comes up (hopefully, I'll have some choices!).

here's some new info from the APA website - here's how I read it... Apparently, they can require an early decision but you can take it back if you end up being accepted elsewhere:
"On occasion you may be pressured to accept an offer before April 15. In the event that you have accepted such an offer, you should be fully aware that you have the right to resign the original acceptance before April 15 to take an alternative offer. "
