Hey guys I just found this site and its really great. I was wondering if anyone has heard about interviews for the University of Cincinnati yet. I submitted my secondaries to OSU and UC at the same time (about a month ago). I heard about ago. Both websites say my application is completed, and I heard about my OSU interview several weeks ago, but still haven't heard from UC. I guess I'm starting to get a little anxious. With my grades and being an Ohio resident I'd be pretty surprised if I didn't get an interview, but as busy as I am this fall I'd feel better if I got an interview date soon. Also, does anyone know how UC notifies you about this? Do they used e-mail or mail or just post an update on the website like OSU? Thanks for the help.

The UC website is not very informative. I would give them a call.

Early decision interviews were today. I was telephoned to set up an appointment, and I also received a letter in the mail the same day. I'm not sure how regular admissions might differ from this, but just call or send an e-mail. They are quick to respond.

Hey Cubbyphan,

I have not heard from UC. Then again, I have not heard from OSU either. I'm in state and have solid numbers. I have interviews at MCO, CWRU and Rochester, but nothing from OSU, which is puzzling to say the least. I have this bad feeling that I have fallen through the cracks at OSU.

Would you mind PMing me your stats. I want to understand why I am not getting any love at OSU.

Hey thanks for the help everyone. I'll probably give them another week or so and then maybe e-mail them if I don't hear from them to see if there are any problems. Also, this may be a dumb question, but if they are not going to grant you an interview will they normally send you a rejection letter, or will some schools just forget about you completely.

Not a dumb question at all. Some schools give you a rejection letter, others just ignore you. If I figure out which category Cincinnati falls into I'll PM you.

Like heldicus I interviewed there ED on Monday. I got the feeling that there wouldn't be a lot of action on regular decision until they wrapped up the early stuff, which supposedly will happen around the third week of September. They hadn't even started training student tour guides yet, so hang in there a little longer and be optimistic!
