Anyone have any thoughts or insights into this program? Quality of training? I'm looking to stay midwest and it seemed very nice.

Rotated there for trauma last year. Solid program, residents seemed happy, and 5 year accreditation cycle (which are becoming uncommon). Nice ORs too.

I went to medical school at Cincinnati and did anesthesia rotations there my 3rd and 4th year. This has been a few years, but they have great teachers, sick patients, excellent in trauma/critical care and peds in particular. Would have been very happy to stay.

Cincinnati Children's has been on the rise for years. I consider them to be right behind Boston Children's and CHOP in the world of Children's Hosptials.
I'd love to work there, except for the Cincinnati thing of course! 😉

Yeah... but, there's something to be said about getting to do your pediatric anesthesia months at one of the best children's hospitals in the country...
