Cincy Post-Interview No Decision

I interviewed at Cincy on March 4th and just checked the online status page to find that I was placed in the category of "no decicision has been made." Since I was at the second to last week of interviews we were told that this was the best news we could get at this point. I wanted to know when I could expect to hear a decision (is it going to really be right after May 15?) and what are my chances. I'm an out-of-state applicant, but if I remember correctly, about 40% of those out-of-staters that interview at UC get offered an acceptance.

Also, has any of you been taken off the no decision category and accepted since then? How about any out-of-staters?

I don't know how helpful this info will be, but I was waitlisted after my interview on Dec. 4, then accepted in early February. So apparently they do send out acceptances as people decline spots in the class, rather than waiting until May like some schools do.

Ok, is it normal that my application is still in the "no decision" category a month after interviewing. I thought that something would have been decided by now at Cincy...like being put on "hold" at the very least.

Is there anyone else that can help me out with info regarding Cincinnati?? I know that there are a decent amount of SDNer's that went to Cincy for an interview. How long was your application at the point of a no decision before you received word of some type of decision...hold, acceptance, rejection????? UC is my top choice at this point and I am getting really anxious that no decision has been made more than a month since I was there, especially since we were told that we could expect to hear something after a couple of weeks. Anyone know what time of the month the adcom meets??? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I interviewed January 6th and got put on hold on February 14th. I think the committee meets this week (they generally meet during the the 2nd week of the month around the 11th or 12th or so) and they usually update the website on Fridays so you should check then and see what happens. Hope this helps.

I interviewed on Jan. 21 and it wasn't till early March that I was notified that I was waitlisted. Something like six weeks.

They also mentioned that they were 3 weeks behind - that our files would sit for 3 weeks after the interview before they'd even get looked at...

Contrast that with OSU who told us, "your ears will be burning as we will be discussing this group in committee as you are driving home tonight." Yikes!
