So in FA 2013, under cisplatin/carboplatin it mentions "chloride diuresis" to prevent nephrotoxicity? Any chance someone can help translate what that means? I googled it and found nothing that seemed to make sense. Thanks!

From UWorld: "Another preventative measure (against nephrotoxicity) is establishing a chloride diuresis (via IV normal saline) because cisplatin stays in a nonreactive state when in a higher chloride concentration"
