Citizen vs. perminant resident

Just want to know if there is any difference between them in eyes of admissions committee or even the school laws.
 
i believe not. that being a resident is enough as far as i know
 
It does not matter. Med schools do not differentiate btw PR and Citizen.

I don't think it would make a difference for admissions. Both citizens and permanent residents can stay in the US legally.

If you ever want to do electives or medical missions in other countries, there could be difference in procedures between citizens and permanent residents with regards to visas for foreign travel.
 
Thanks everyone, i am just researching med schools and i thought that i should avoid any school if it woud o this devision.
