Hey everyone, I'm an IMG waiting to start my clinical rotations. Problem being the hospital I chose to go to doesn't start until the end of August. I'm trying to look at all the different options I potentially could have for the next 4 months or so. I was wondering for those who've taken CK, how much your clinical rotations actually prepared you for it. I'm basically trying to figure out if it's feasible to take it before I start in August. I just took Step 1 in March, so I'd like to think things are still pretty fresh. Were there a lot of questions that were asked that aren't found in any of the Step 2 review books or Q banks?

i would advise against it. by all means read and study since you sound like you'll be bored but its kind of hard to book learn the same amount of knowledge that you'll get through 12 weeks of medicine or surgery, rounding, getting pimped, plus whatever time you spend on that rotation studying. not to the time mention studying for the shelf exams...
