64. THE DATA SHOWN BELOW WERE OBTAINED FROM THE FOLLOWING REACTION:
A + 2B -> 2C + D
TRIAL INITIAL INITIAL RATE
[A] (M) 10^-4 (M) 10^-2 (M min^-1)
1 1.0 1.0 0.65
2 2.0 1.0 1.30
3 2.0 0.5 0.65
4 0.5 2.0 0.65

WHAT IS THE RATE LAW THAT IS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM?

A. k[C]^2[D]/ [A]^2
B. k[A]
C. k[A]^2
D. k^2
E. k[A]

Answer is B.

We all know that the exponent for both A and B is 1
Here is my question. Notice how on the reactant side given above is "A + 2B"

that coefficient 2 does not come into play in overall rate law?

and I apologize about the table looking like crap. copy + paste I guess is no good

No, it doesn't.
