does anyone have pictures of this?

my lab manual says that the distal portion can be either in dogbone outline form or dovetail outline form. then it shows the dogbone form as having a lingual extension.

for operative class on plastic teeth that are graded (im not talking about down in the clinic) if you put the dogbone in on the distal portion, do you have to do a lingual extension as well???????? would not doing the lingual extension making the outline form wrong??

we were taught if you can get good retention from the dove tail then there is no need for lingual ext. for those "ideal" preps id say your best bet is to give the prof's whatever they want for those pracs
