Here are some of the highlights of my senior year:

-Being elected Homecoming King.
-Homecoming weekend 2012.
-Being a drumline member (quint player).
-Being a part of a special drumline feature of a benefit called the Archbishop's Christmas Party. It was a benefit for poor children in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas.
-Being hired as a part-time POS Associate (fancy term for cashier) at Kohl's.
-Being one of the most popular and most recognized names in my school of 1500+ students.
-Getting my driver's license
-Playing for two St. Patty's Day Parades (in Philadelphia and Springfield, PA) with the band and drumline.
-Leading the Philadelphia Phillies (my favorite baseball team!) into Citizens Bank Park with the band and drumline.
-Kairos (only Catholic school kids will know what this is!)! Doubt. Feel. Trust. Live.
-Reading at May Devotions Mass
-My final drumline and band performance at the Spring pep rally
-The class trip to the movies to see, "The Great Gatsby"
-The field trip to St. Charles Borremo Seminary in Philadelphia
-Senior prom 2013
-Baccalaureate Mass
-Graduation

...as you can tell, my senior year was BEYOND AWESOME 😀 How was your senior year? What were some of the highlights? Will you miss high school? I know I do

You pretty cool man! And your senior year sounds like it was a blast!

But I have to come down to a conclusion...

CLASS OF 2014 >>>>>>>>>>>>> class of 2013.

Hahaha,

senior year was pretty awesome.. Needless to say though, 2013 > everyone else

Top highlight was Graduation of course though lol.. Glad to have done it, but also glad to be out and ready to go to college.

Wellll I was class of 2012, but high school was the most depressing time period ever experienced. I basically pretend those memories don't exist now. Life after high school ftw.

lol i won't say high school was depressing, but it had its moments lol. And yeaah, life after high school should be waaayyy better 👍 here's to hoping at least

High school is the only thing that is wrong in America. So much bs and waste of time. But anyway... it is gone now.

Any tips for making senior year unforgettable? Besides banging chicks and going to parties? (I already do that stuff) :naughty:

Just try to meet as many people as you can. I became popular because I talked to everyone, even the stupid freshmen!

Thanks man! But 2013>>>>>>>>>>2014

Yes. Don't waste your time trying to be popular.

👍 it's not that big of a deal. I'd say having 4 close friends is way better than having 40 acquaintances. If you can get both, more power to you, but don't strive for popularity.. lol

Also, don't tell people on here you're already banging chicks and going to parties, because then we will most likely believe you are indeed not banging chicks and going to parties.

Jpatel is just trying to be cool

Jpatel is just trying to be cool
I'm sorry, I got carried away with OP's popularity! Lol if you didn't catch it, I was joking because of the irony of me doing countless hours of research right now and not having any time to do those things! Jajaja

P.S, Gandhi said I should try to be cool!

I'm too school for cool.

 i was joking too bro

everyone on hsdn knows partying and intercourse are for failures

Yes. Don't waste your time trying to be popular.

I wouldn't necessarily say that trying to be popular is a waste of time. If you can find a way to get known, then becoming popular won't be so much of an effort. Freshman year, I gained a little exposure by creating a Facebook account and befriending a lot of people in my school's Class of 2013. I didn't attend my alma mater for my sophomore year; however, I transferred back in for my junior year. Financial problems was the reason that I didn't attend my alma mater, a Catholic school, for my sophomore year. During my junior year, I had to take sophomore courses since I took my junior courses during my sophomore year at public high school. That gave me the opportunity to meet with people from the Class of 2014. Also, my brother attended school that year and introduced me to people in his Class of 2015. As a senior, I started off my year by being elected my school's Homecoming King. Then, I gained even more exposure by doing the morning announcements on my school's TV network. Finally, I met a ton of people from the freshman Class of 2016 while expanding my network of people from the Classes of 2013, 2014, and 2015. By the time of graduation, I knew the names of every senior, most juniors, a lot of sophomores, and most freshmen, and everybody in that school knew my name (there was a saying at my school that went, "If you don't know my name, then you're not a student of my school"). In conclusion, if you can find a way to get exposure, popularity will come to you and thus make it less of an effort and more of a thing to go along with.

I cringed so hard that my anus is permanently closed shut.

Lol, toooo good

Anyways, I'd say that my high school experience was pretty good overall. I'll definitely miss my friends there, but I probably won't miss anything else because college 👍👍

High school was pretty good! I enjoyed most of what i could out of it. But im ready for college. Senior year was surely the most relaxing and enjoyable. Sophomore year was my hardest for the medical program i was in. Just don't rush high school and enjoy the most out of it. But by the time you get near the end of senior year, you are ready to move on! Applying for colleges and getting accepted was very exciting too. I think was weird for me on the last days of school, was just that were entering big world now.

-I got certified as an EKG technician
-Played highschool Ice Hockey and Tennis
-Great school[PHUHS] and great medical program
-Plenty of homecomings and little get togethers are always nice to remember
-Living on the beach during my highschool years was ++++
-And my highschool had over 3000+ kids, so plenty of people to meet.

Yeah i hear ya, with the traffic and all. Where I live at the moment, its like a beach neighborhood[Indian Rocks Beach]. not a bunch of hotels or condos. Its pretty cool and glad i was able to live here through highschool but before that i was in the suburbs of Tampa. But ill be living in downtown soon for UT, which will be cool!

The beach (in the Philadelphia area, we call it "The Shore", and that means any Jersey shore point south of Atlantic City!) would be an excellent place to live...if I weighed 100 pounds less than what I do now! I do enjoy the Jersey Shore every now and then, however; I just like PA and Philly better!

@califoricati0n Love the name! My favorite RHCP song is Snow! Anyways, I would be lying if I didn't include that fact. I'm not bragging; it was just a fact: I was hugely popular in a huge school! This became especially true after I was elected Homecoming King. I'm glad you enjoyed your experience though!

@CameronMed Your HS experience sounds awesome! Glad you enjoyed it!

2014'er here.

I didn't necessarily LOVE high school, but it was a fun ride. I'll be Graduating a semester early, but I will actually miss those crazy suckers at my school  The principal said I was welcomed back any time to visit 😎

All in all, It will be 3 1/2 years of unexpected fun when it's all said and done.
