just start working on secondaries once you are done

I got sick of them really quickly and many schools have deadlines.

I lucked out this cycle and was blessed with alot of interviews and acceptances; however, I fooled around in turning in alot of secondaries and ended up being really late in the process at some schools

Yes, hopefully they'll be there by the end of the week. The only frustrating thing is getting my last letter in to my committee. I emailed the committee chair today to see how many people had complete files, and it was only 6, so if I can get the letter in this week, I should be fine. Otherwise, everyone will start turning them in, and my letters won't be ready until like Sept/Oct. That would be bad.

wow...why does it take them so long to write them?
 
Penn does not send out letters till Aug. 1st if I remember correctly
 
that reminds me...I need to send thank you letters to all of my letter writers

Oh and I have to write a letter of rec for one of my students

Lots and lots of pre-meds use the committee and they write them in order that the files are complete.
 
ahhh welll I have a full day tomorrow.

I did not go to the gym today (Sat) b/c I was feeling sick...yeah just see the shenanigans of last night's posting and then you will know what I mean when I say sick :laugh:
 
sunday is normally my day off, but I skipped sat sooo I have to make it up

Saw it last weekend, definitely a good movie to see in theaters.

I actually just came back from a late night screening of Angels & Demons. It was better than Da Vinci Code, but still not great. Having read the book beforehand kinda takes some of the fun out of it since you already know what happens.

I was too...i submitted amcas the first minute it opened, lmao...no lie neither.


BUt youll grow sick of it soon..after the first 5 or so secondaries and then after a few interviews, it gets old.

I submitted my AMCAS the first week of August

Speaking of giving stuff up, I feel quite weary of Pre-Allo as a whole. There isn't much left for us, you know? (well, exception of kissme, she has her own cycle to look forward to) So when does this thread get moved to Allo?

Is there a C/O 2012 thread from last cycle that's still around? I couldn't find one in Allo.
